The Dorian (San Francisco, Ca)

Can I get a window seat? Sitting next to my best friend, I am preoccupied by the teddy bear-esque mini Labradoodle I keep glancing at through the window. If only it was permissible, for them to have a seat with us inside. As more patrons trickle in, clothed in orange and black, it takes only a few minutes to feel the chilled out, welcoming vibes on a Saturday afternoon. Shortly after, we order. and moments later, two glasses are set down on our table. One holding a sparkling Rośe, the other a refreshing cocktail of Strawberry, Vodka and Yuzu. Flowing close behind, Brussels sprouts nestled together, braised in a tangy orange sauce. These beauties, encourage you to ponder the finer things in life. Frites dressed in truffle oil and parmesan tucked neatly, so not to lose their cool, snap with a tender bite. A tomato soup bright with a subtle kick of spice, team up with a well toasted grilled cheese sourdough sandwich, while fresh and tantalizing Lobster scampi garnishes a well toasted crostini. To top off a celebratory occasion, I am given a sweet surprise of Frośe shots, studded with Nerd candy.

The Dorian, located at the corner of Chestnut and Fillmore is, is an all around gathering place with great food and and great fun. Recommended by me (#kissthechef415), and receives 5 kisses.
